Privacy Policy

TaskXP is an iPhone planner. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes. The short version: your tasks stay on your device, there are no accounts and no ads, and we never sell your data.

What stays on your iPhone

• Your tasks, notes, plans, XP, achievements, garden, rewards and settings are stored only on your iPhone, in the app's private storage. We don't run a server that receives them.
• Widgets read a small summary of today's tasks that the app saves in a shared space on your iPhone.
• If you delete TaskXP, this data is deleted with it, unless it is in an iPhone backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) that you restore.
• iCloud sync, when it arrives, will store a copy in your own private iCloud account, which Apple runs and we cannot read.

Voice and Apple Intelligence

• Voice capture uses Apple's speech recognition. When your iPhone supports it, recognition happens on the device. Otherwise Apple may process the audio under Apple's own privacy policy. TaskXP does not store or send your recordings.
• Smart fill with Apple Intelligence runs Apple's on-device model. Your sentence does not leave your iPhone.

Anonymous usage statistics

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to learn how the app is used: for example that a task was completed, the mode in use, or that onboarding finished. These signals contain no task titles, notes or other text you type, no name, email or contact details, and no advertising identifier. TelemetryDeck receives an anonymized, hashed identifier and does not track you across apps.

Purchases

TaskXP Pro is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment; we only receive confirmation that a purchase is valid. We never see your card details.

Notifications, calendars and other permissions

TaskXP asks for permission before using notifications, the microphone, speech recognition or (when available) calendars. These are used only for the feature you turn on, on your device.

Google Tasks and Calendar (when available)

If you connect a Google account, TaskXP will read and write only the tasks and calendars you choose, directly between your iPhone and Google. We will not store your Google data on our own servers. TaskXP's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Children

TaskXP is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your choices

• You can export your data any time from Profile → Prepare data export.
• You can delete all your data by deleting the app.
• You can turn off permissions any time in iPhone Settings.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
