Terms of Use
Last updated: October 7, 2026 · Also at taskxp.app/terms
By downloading or using TaskXP ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The app
TaskXP helps you plan tasks, get reminders and track progress. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), together with these terms. Where they differ, these terms add to the EULA.
Free version, trial and TaskXP Pro
- TaskXP is free to use, with no time limit.
- New users get every feature, including Pro, free for the first 6 months.
- After the trial, the free version keeps working. Pro features (Apple Intelligence task creation and animated wallpapers) need TaskXP Pro.
- TaskXP Pro is a one-time, non-refundable-by-us purchase made through the App Store. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Pro includes future Pro features we add.
- Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy and may change for future purchases.
Not medical advice
TaskXP is a planning tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or manage any condition, including ADHD. Reminders, including alarms you use for medication, can fail to arrive (for example if notifications are turned off, the phone is off or in a Focus mode, or because of a software issue). Don't rely on TaskXP as your only reminder for anything important to your health or safety.
Your content
Your tasks and notes are yours. They are stored on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping backups; we can't recover data that is deleted from your device.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app, or use it to break the law.
Third-party services
Some features rely on Apple services (App Store, notifications, speech recognition, Apple Intelligence, iCloud) and, if you connect it, Google. Those services are governed by their own terms.
Disclaimer and limits
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed reminders, lost data or lost streaks. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app. You can stop using TaskXP any time by deleting it.
